Pendahuluan: Retinopati diabetik merupakan komplikasi dari penyakit diabetes dan merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kebutaan. Retinopati diabetik terjadi ketika pembuluh darah pada retina rusak dan hal ini berhubungan dengan hiperglikemi dan kondisi lainnya pada diabetes. Bevacizumab digunakan untuk mengobati retinopati diabetik dan penyakit lainnya yang menganggu retina. Injeksi Bevacizumab dilakukan untuk mencegah hilangnya penglihatan dengan memblok perkembangan yang abnormal dari pembuluh darah pada retina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat karakteristik serta gambaran tajam penglihatan pasien retinopati diabetik sebelum dan sesudah injeksi bevacizumab. Metode: Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif retrospektif dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data dari rekam medik yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dikumpulkan pada periode 1 Januari tahun 2019 sampai 31 desember tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 69 mata dari 40 pasien sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar mata mengalami NPDR yang berjumlah 55 (80%) mata. Sebelum injeksi bevacizumab tajam penglihatan 6/6 – 6/18 berjumlah 18%, tajam penglihatan 6/19 – 6/60 sebanyak 37.7% dan tajam penglihatan 5/60 – 1/∞ sebanyak 43.5%. Sesudah injeksi bevacizumab tajam penglihatan 6/6 – 6/18 berjumlah 27.5%, tajam penglihatan 6/19 – 6/60 sebanyak 42% dan tajam penglihatan 5/60 – 1/∞ sebanyak 30.4%. Pada penelitian ini mata yang tidak mengalami perubahan tajam penglihatan berjumlah 52.2%, mata yang mengalami perbaikan 34.8% dan mata yang mengalami penurunan 13%. Kesimpulan: Kesimpulannya sesudah di injeksi bevacizumab mata yang tidak mengalami perubahan tajam penglihatan lebih banyak setelah follow up 1 bulan yaitu 52.2%.
