O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar o conceito enfermeiro especialista na perspectiva de Walker e Avant. Trata-se de uma análise conceitual, realizada por meio de uma scoping review, em dezembro de 2022. O estudo seguiu o método de análise de conceito proposto pelas autoras Walker e Avant. A amostra final foi composta por 15 artigos. Os resultados revelaram o conceito de enfermeiro especialista como sendo o profissional que possui expertise teórico e prática em uma área do conhecimento específica. É capaz de otimizar os cuidados em saúde de forma integral, em todos os níveis de atenção à saúde, mediante aprimoramento do conhecimento, mudanças de comportamento e valores éticos-morais. Conclui-se que o presente estudo permitiu identificar na literatura os elementos centrais do conceito de interesse, sendo importante para a clarificação do mesmo para uso ampliado na ciência e no cotidiano prático da enfermagem.
Objetivo: Analisar a prevalência de estresse e sua relação com a qualidade e distúrbios do sono em enfermeiros atuantes no ambiente hospitalar no contexto da pandemia pela COVID-19. Método: Estudo analítico, transversal e exploratório, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado com profissionais enfermeiros em três hospitais universitários federais no Brasil, no período de dezembro de 2020 a abril de 2021. Dados sociodemográficos/profissionais e provenientes de três instrumentos (Escala de Bianchi de Stress, Índice de Qualidade do Sono de Pittsburgh-Brasil, e Questionário de Berlim) foram analisados. Resultados: Participaram 205 profissionais enfermeiros. O estudo revelou a associação entre estresse, qualidade do sono e seus distúrbios em enfermeiros com até 35 anos e tempo de trabalho inferior a 10 anos, que trabalham à noite e utilizam medicamentos. Enfermeiros com até 35 anos, sem filhos e não obesos têm menor probabilidade de desenvolver distúrbios do sono. Conclusão: Sugere-se a replicação deste estudo em hospitais estaduais e municipais no sentido de conhecer o contexto de outras realidades, compará-las e consolidar informações que sustentem a tomada de decisões dos gestores para que uma frente de iniciativas seja tomada na tentativa de reversão do quadro, protegendo os trabalhadores.
