RESUMO A urolitíase é uma doença comum em coelhos, caracterizada pela presença de cálculos ou urólitos no sistema urinário. Os cálculos geralmente são constituídos por carbonato de cálcio, sendo os vesicais os mais comuns. O diagnóstico pode ser confirmado por meio de radiografias, onde se identifica o cálculo radiopaco. Devido a um mecanismo de absorção de cálcio exclusivo dos lagomorfos, uma parte importante do tratamento e prevenção desta doença consiste na correção da dieta. O objetivo deste artigo é relatar o caso de um coelho macho, de cinco anos de idade e pesando 2,9kg, que apresentava dificuldade para urinar e defecar, apetite pervertido e urinava em locais não usuais. Ao exame físico, observou-se dor à palpação abdominal, urina concentrada e tenesmo. Foram solicitados exames laboratoriais e radiografia de abdome, encontrando-se na vesícula urinária um urólito liso ovalado medindo 13 mm x 6 mm. O animal não foi submetido a cirurgia, e no decorrer de tratamento clínico o urólito acabou por ser expelido de forma espontânea. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: cálcio, lagomorfos, sistema urinário, urolitíase.
