without college education had poor mean survival compared to the patients with a college degree (1891±1295vs. 2353±1777 days, p = 0.05). There were no significant differences between two groups in medication compliance (76.5% vs. 52.9%, p= 0.23). Conclusion: In our single-center study, education status was strongly related to poor survival and increased incidence of rejection in OHT recipients. Our study suggests that patients without college education should receive additional attention on interventions to improve post-transplant survival. Further prospective studies are warranted to confirm these findings.
