An effective analytical method for pesticides multiresidue determination in grape samples was developed and validated. A modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, robust and safe (QuEChERS) method was used to extract the target compounds. Several sorbent materials were tested for the clean-up step using dispersive solid phase extraction (d-SPE) and Florisil ® was selected. Samples extracts were evaporated before injection in the gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC-MS) system in order to improve detectability. Recoveries from blank samples spiked at 0.04, 0.3 and 1.0 mg kg −1 ranged from 95 to 102% with relative standard deviation (RSD) from 1.3 to 19.7%. Method limits of detection (LODm) and quantification (LOQm) ranged from 0.006 to 0.012 and 0.02 to 0.04 mg kg −1 , respectively. The positive matrix effect caused an increase in the peak areas of all compounds and matrix matched calibration curve linearity (coefficient of determination, r 2 ) was higher than 0.98 for all target analytes. The validated method was successfully applied for the determination of 19 pesticides in grape samples.

Separation of water for reuse is essential in an effluent treatment system, especially in activities with high water consumption, such as a pig production system. The objective of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of Tanfloc SG R coagulant tannin/organic flocculant used to treat effluent generated during the intensive rearing of swine. For the evaluation, laboratory and in situ tests (field test) were performed. The laboratory tests were performed to define the concentration (1 and 16%), dosage (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0, and 16.0 milliliters of the solution), and time (24, 48, 72, and 96 hours) of coagulation/flocculation treatment of the solid portion of the effluent. The parameters pH, turbidity, oxidation reduction potential, dissolved oxygen, and electroconductivity (in microsiemens per centimeter) were evaluated using a multiparameter probe and the parameters ammonia (NH 3 ), nitrate (NO 3 ), and nitrite (NO 2 ) in the laboratory, in relation to the coagulation/flocculation time of the solid part of the effluent. The use of tannin as a coagulant/flocculant of plant origin in the treatment of swine effluents was effective in reducing turbidity and concentrations of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, and it allowed separation of the solid-liquid phase in approximately 68% as liquid phase.
The objective of this work was to evaluate water quality and environmental impacts in shallow wells in rural properties of Caiçara - RS. The physicochemical and microbiological analyzes were performed between September 2017 and March 2018 in three rural properties, in addition to macroscopic evaluation. According to the results obtained, variables such as nitrate, total iron, pH, apparent color and turbidity are in disagreement with the water potability legislation, Consolidation Ordinance No. 5 (2007). In addition, all water samples showed total coliforms and Escherichia coli. The conservation of shallow wells was rated as reasonable or poor. From the monitoring carried out, environmental changes can be noticed, such as the lack of protection in the place and the degradation of the vegetation caused mainly by the inadequate use and occupation of the soil. This reflects the microbiological variables that contaminate drinking water, causing potential health problems for residents of the properties. These characteristics point to the importance of actions to protect and preserve water sources, not disrespecting the socioeconomic aspects of the region, based on incentives and instructions to landowners who have shallow wells for human consumption.
