A pandemia de COVID-19 impactou significativamente a saúde mental de muitos indivíduos, principalmente das pessoas que contraíram o vírus, causando diversos problemas de saúde e comportamental. Dentre as consequências da pandemia está a tentativa de suicídio, que vem acontecendo desde os primeiros momentos do distanciamento social. Este estudo foi uma Revisão Integrativa da Literatura. A busca dos estudos foi pelo acesso online, como resultado foram selecionados 13 artigos, que mostraram que durante uma pandemia o risco de suicídio é exacerbado. Dentre os possíveis fatores de risco para o suicídio em momentos de pandemia, destaca-se a discriminação que muitos doentes sofrem, além da questão financeira. Diante desse contexto preocupante profissionais de saúde alertam sobre a importância de estratégias para acompanhamento e tratamento de populações vulneráveis emocionalmente, assim como ações de prevenção ao suicídio.
