O estudo tem como objetivo desenhar um programa de formação de formadores em media and information literacy (MIL) para países lusófonos africanos. Apresenta os resultados parciais de uma investigação bibliográfica, bem como os dados de um questionário aplicado aos profissionais de informação para definir as suas necessidades de formação, particularmente, em MIL. Os resultados do questionário foram processados pelo software encuestafacil e reunidos numa matriz SWOT. O estudo revela o contexto dos países lusófonos africanos e as necessidades de formação dos seus profissionais de informação. Também identifica o modelo MIL da UNESCO, à distância e presencial, como o mais adequado para os países em análise.Palavras-chave: Países lusófonos africanos. Media and information literacy. RESUMOO artigo indica alguns estudos diacrônicos de revisão e de comparação sobre competência em informação a nível mundial e investiga alguns modelos em contexto universitário e suas respectivas aplicações, descrevendo experiências realizadas com estudantes, em diferentes universidades e países. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Entre os resultados destaca-se a diversidade cronológica e geográfica dos modelos, bem como as suas diversas possibilidades de aplicação para a avaliação e o desenvolvimento da competência em informação de universitários. ABSTRACTThe article indicates some diachronic studies review and comparison on information literacy worldwide and researches some models in university context and their applications, describing experiments with students in different universities and countries. Resumen: Las TIC han facilitado recopilar, almacenar, tratar, preservar y difundir el patrimonio cultural, científico y la información en general en formato digital. La biblioteca nacional como institución patrimonial, se ha ido adaptando al entorno digital para poder cumplir con la misión que le corresponde. En esta línea, el sitio web de la biblioteca nacional, encargado de alojar y difundir la información digital y digitalizada de la nación, debe cumplir con una serie de condiciones, cometido y objetivos de naturaleza formal, informativa y ergonómica para hacer que su Web sea accesible y garantizar el acceso a la información. Como parte de un trabajo sobre las necesidades de la utilización de las TIC en las bibliotecas nacionales lusófonas, se realiza un estudio de las páginas principales de los sitios web de las bibliotecas nacionales de Brasil y Portugal, identificán-dose las fortalezas y debilidades existentes en cuanto a la calidad de los mismos, cuyos resultados pueden ser útiles para la mejora o la creación de sitios web. The national library, as other patrimonial institutions, have made the necessary adaptations to integrate the digital world in order to do this mission. So, the national library website must perseve the digital national information must respect some formal, informative and ergonomic conditions in order to its Web access. In this paper we aim to investigate the use of web sites phenomenon. The work comprises an approach to the website of National Libraries of Brazil and Portugal in order to analyse and evaluate them with some established indicators. The results obtained show strengths and weaknesses related to the quality of the webs in discussion, and pretend to be applicable to National Libraries Website and serve as a reference for present experiences and future developments.
Se hace una reflexión acerca de la relación entre la Educación a Distancia y la Comunidad de Países de Lengua Portuguesa. Se emplea una investigación de carácter descriptivo, exploratorio y cualitativo. A partir de una revisión bibliográfica y documental sobre las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación y la Educación a Distancia em distintas bases de datos bibliográficas, se efectúa la búsqueda de información relativa a la cooperación educativa entre los países de la Comunidad de Países de Lengua Portuguesa, empleando su la web institucional. Seleccionada la literatura apropiada al objeto de estudio, se realiza una lectura analítica de su contenido y se sistematiza la información relativa al problema de investigación. Los resultados resaltan la necesidad de implementar la educación a distancia en los países de la Comunidad de Países de Lengua Portuguesa, a través de políticas educativas concertadas para formar ciudadanos críticos y colaborativos.
