INTRODUÇÃO: A pandemia do novo coronavírus trouxe grandes consequências para a saúde global, e inúmeros dos efeitos da infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 não foram completamente elucidados para a comunidade científica e acadêmica. OBJETIVO: Informar acadêmicos da área da saúde sobre potenciais sequelas do COVID-19 e respectivos tratamentos. RELATO: O “Simpósio Multidisciplinar Pós-COVID” foi realizado em 4 dias (30 e 31 de agosto, e 01 e 02 de setembro de 2021), de modo remoto por meio da plataforma Stream Yard e com transmissão pelo Youtube, na qual os participantes puderam interagir pelo chat e enviar dúvidas para fomentar o debate. Em cada dia de evento ocorreram 2 palestras a respeito de danos respiratórios, sequelas no olfato e paladar, alimentação, performance esportiva, saúde mental, recuperação pós-covid, distúrbios neurológicos, complicações vasculares e cardíacas e contexto mundial pós-COVID. No momento da inscrição do evento e ao final das palestras os espectadores responderam a um Google Formulário com perguntas que visavam classificar, em uma escala de 0 a 5, o conhecimento a respeito da temática de cada aula. Assim, a análise da diferença positiva entre as respostas dos formulários pré e pós-palestras permitiu aos coordenadores do simpósio realizar uma avaliação do impacto do evento. DISCUSSÃO: O conhecimento sobre as sequelas decorrentes da infecção pelo novo coronavírus é relevante, visto que milhares de pessoas agora sofrem efeitos a longo prazo da infecção pela doença. Ademais, lacunas no aprendizado deste tema na formação de profissionais da saúde consubstanciam-se em um entrave para a promoção do bem-estar físico, mental e social da população. CONCLUSÃO: O evento constituiu-se em um espaço de aprendizado para os estudantes, disseminando conhecimento que colabore para formação de profissionais capazes de realizar o manejo adequado das sequelas do pós-COVID.
