Introdução: a identifi cação do papilomavírus humano (HPV) em gestantes adolescentes, representa oportunidade para estudo de sua prevalência nessa condição especí-fi ca, possibilitando atuação direcionada ao diagnóstico e tratamento das morbidades correlatas. Parece oportuno a utilização de métodos para avaliação dessa infecção, comparando-se os achados obtidos pela citologia oncótica convencional (CCO-C) e a colposcopia, diante de outros exames não rotineiros como a citologia em base líquida (CC-BL) e a captura híbrida II, avaliando-se a relevância desses testes em relação ao desenvolvimento das lesões intraepiteliais, desencadeadas pelo HPV. Objetivos: pesquisar a presença do HPV pela captura híbrida II e correlacionar com os achados da CCO-C, CC-BL e colposcopia. Métodos: avaliamos 60 gestantes com idade entre 12 a 18 anos realizando captura híbrida II, colposcopia, CCO-C e CC-BL. Resultados: a captura híbrida II foi positiva em 51,7%. A CCO-C e a CC-BL apresentaram resultados idênticos, com exames normais em 90% e alterados em 10% dos casos.Os achados anormais da CCO-C foram: lesão intra-epitelial escamosa de baixo grau (8,3%) e carcinoma invasor (1,7%). Os achados anormais da CC-BL foram: lesão intra-epitelial escamosa de baixo grau (8,3%) e de alto grau (1,7%). A colposcopia foi sempre satisfatória, identifi cando-se zona de transformação anormal em 21,7% dos casos. Os resultados indicam ausência de concordância entre os testes e a captura híbrida II, considerando os valores de Kappa muito próximos de zero. Quando os testes são comparados entre si, sem a captura híbrida II, encontramos pequena concordância, com valores de Kappa próximos a 0,5. Nesse contexto, a análise estatística não demonstrou benefícios com a associação desses exames. A CCO-C poderia associar-se à captura híbrida, amplifi cando a identifi cação de pacientes de risco para lesão intra-epitelial cervical e aperfeiçoando o seguimento das portadoras do HPV. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:Papilomavírus; Gravidez, Adolescência, Captura híbrida; Citologia oncótica; Citologia em base líquida; Colposcopia Objetivo: detectar fatores de risco e fatores de proteção para perda de massa óssea em mulheres na pós-menopausa em uma Unidade Básica da Região Sul do Município de São Paulo, correlacionando-os com os achados de densitometria óssea. Métodos: foram estudadas 69 mulheres na pós-menopausa com idade igual ou superior a 50 anos. Responderam ao questionário do Programa de Atenção Integral à Saúde da Mulher (Secretaria de Estado da Saúde -Centro de Referência da Saúde da Mulher) onde estavam elencados todos os fatores que pudessem interferir com a perda de massa óssea. Divididas em 2 grupos de acordo com o diagnóstico da densitometria óssea: Normal GI (n = 16) e perda de massa óssea GII (n = 53).
