La notifJn de collerette.-Un grand nombre de Champignons Basidiomycètes montrent vers la partie supérieure de leur pied un organe annulaire, une collerette qui reçoit bien souvent les noms d'anne3.U, de collier ou de manchette, ct dont les Amanites, Armillaires, Lépiotes, Psalliotes, Pholiotes, certains Coprins, certains Tricholomes sont pourvus. Pour le morphographe, la notion de collerette est claire et, dans la classification, il est tenté de placer les uns près des autres tous les Champignons qui en pn 1 sentent. En fait, quand on suit l'histoire de cette formation, on voit qu'elle diffère souvent profondément d'un genre à l'autre et parfois à l'intérieur d'un mème genre. Nous rechercherons son origine en suivant l'exposé qu'en a fait Gilbert (1\!47). Elle est constituée fréquemment par le voile partiel, dit encore voile hym!'•nial qui, chez une Amanite par exemple, forme aux lames, sous l'abri du voile général qui entoure le jeune Champignon, une seconde protection, tendue entre le bord du chapeau et le pieâ. C'est à ce voile que Gilbert rèserve le nom d'anneau. La collerette de l' A.rmillariclla mellea est tout autre chose : elle tire son origine du voile général, qui gaine toute la partie inférieure du pied et se sépare du chapeau par une simple circoncision, laissant flotter autour du pied une formation annuliforme., qui n'offre avec l'anneau des Amanites qu'une ressemblance superficielle. Gilbert l'appelle un armillr, l't il le retrouve clwz les Phoeolepiota aurea, 1'.1ucidula mucida, Cystodcrma earcharias, Ilia tula fenella, A rmillaria amantia, Tricholoma al bo brunrwum. La cortint• fibritleuse des Cortinaires n'est en général qu'une varit'tù de l'armille, tirant son origine comme lui du voile général. Il se pourrait cependant que dans de rares cas la cortine comporte deux couches, l'une issue du voile général, l'autre du voile partiel (Josserand, 1 952), et c'est au voile partiel que Konrad et Mau blanc (1 H41'!) rapportent la cortine des Corlinain•s du sous-gt•nre Tl'[emonia.
