This paper applied dry combustion method to determinate the carbon content rates in different organs of natural white birch trees in xiaoxinganling mountain area and carried on the analysis and comparison. The results showed that: the average carbon content rates of leaves, branches, trunks and roots was 49.31 %,46.60,46.70%,45.67%,respectively.According to the average values, the sequence of carbon content rates in different organs from the maximum to the minimum was leaves, trunks, branches and roots. Additionally, in different layers of a tree, the sequence of carbon content rates in leaves from the maximum to the minimum was: the upper strata, the middle strata, the lower strata. The sequence of carbon content rates in branches was: the upper strata, the lower strata, the middle strata. The sequence of carbon content rates in trunks was: bark, sapwood, heartwood. The sequence of carbon content rates in roots was: level 2 root, level 1 root, level 3 root. Single tree average rate of carbon 46.49% Higher than 51.25% in northern China. Variance analysis showed that the differences of Bark and sapwood achieved significant level (p<0.05) as well as the differences of bark and heartwood, while the rest were not significant.
As the basis of 1:10000 color aerial remote sensing image of Ulan Buh Desert, Inner Mongolia, this paper studies on white thorn which is a typical representative of the nature of scarcity and mass organizations like the vegetation in the desert region. By using mathematical morphology theory and the Matlab 7.0 software, the white thorn will be conducted from the remote sensing image segmentation. Comparing the conducted image with the outer shape of the industry survey results, the accuracy of segmentation could be verified by the gray-level co-occurrence matrix comparisons. This research provides the technical reference for the large sample survey of desert region by remote sensing image segmentation.
Using the Landsat 5 TM images in 2002 as source data, the paper constructed individual tree biomass models of seven principal species based on the data from field surveying and fixed Plots in Tahe and Amur forest Region in Daxiangan Mountains. The remote sensing biomass model between TM images and data from forest fixed Plots was developed by the methods of multiple linear regression and BP neutral net. The result showed that R in multiple linear regression model was 0.764 and the model passed the F test, D-W test and multi-collinearity test. In the independent sample estimation,The neutral net model with the precision of 91.25% was significantly higher than multiple linear regression model with the precision of 81.02%. Although the“black-box”neutral net model could not give the concrete analytical equation, this kind of model with high precision might be applied to estimate the forest biomass in large level forest biomass.
Forest biomass research data is the basic of researching many forestry and ecological issues therefore, accurately determining the forest biomass is very important both in production and in theoretical research .and it has the world's forest scientists and ecologist’s attention. Forest biomass research data is the basic of researching many forestry and ecological issues therefore, accurately determining the forest biomass is very important both in production and in theoretical research .and it has the world's forest scientists and ecologist’s attention. In this paper, the studies are the different ages, different densities of Pinus sylvestris (Pinus sylvestris var. Mongolia Lit v.) plantation ,based on the biomass data oItalic textf 9 standards and 45 standard wood in the trunks, sticks analytical, researching the age and density impacting on forest biomass; Statistic the distribution of part of the biomass, research the biomass of the relationship between the different size trees factor (diameter, height, crown and so on) and the single-wood components (tree trunks, branches, leaves) , Establish the regression model of part of the single-wood through applying the statistical analysis software; Estimate the total biomass of Pinus sylvestris plantation forest through using the single-wood biomass regression model, Estimate biomass of Pinus sylvestris plantation forest ,and analysis the changes of forest biomass of different age and stand density. This paper provide basic information for the researching of Pinus sylvestris plantation as well as scientific basis for understanding the productivity of Pinus sylvestris Plantation and reasonable business on it.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
