Kurzfassung
Produktionsanlagen für die automatisierte Serienmontage werden heutzutage vorwiegend für schwankende Produktionskapazitäten und hohe Produktvarianz ausgelegt. Um eine starke Kapitalbindung zu vermeiden, sind hohe Ressourcenauslastung und lange Lebenszyklen der Anlagen anzustreben. Bei der Gestaltung von Zuführeinrichtungen für solche Montagesysteme ist dies jedoch besonders problematisch, da die Betriebsmittel in der Regel spezifisch auf den jeweiligen Anwendungsfall zugeschnitten sind und Flexibilität meist durch Redundanz erkauft werden muss. Am WZL der RWTH Aachen wurde eine Methodik zur Standardisierung und Modularisierung von Produktionsanlagen entwickelt, mit der Betriebsmittel mit skalierbarer Kapazität und hoher Produktflexibilität entworfen werden können. In diesem Beitrag wird die Anwendung der Methodik auf die Entwicklung eines Zuführsystems erläutert, das durch ein innovatives Konzept und einen modularen Aufbau über eine neuartige Einsatzflexibilität verfügt.
