High-capacity layered, lithium-rich oxide cathodes show great promise for use as positive electrode materials for rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Understanding the effects of oxygen activating reactions on the cathode's surface during electrochemical cycling can lead to improvements in stability and performance. We used in situ surfaced-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) to observe the oxygen-related surface reactions that occur during electrochemical cycling on lithium-rich cathodes. Here, we demonstrate the direct observation of Li2O formation during the extended plateau and discuss the consequences of its formation on the cathode and anode. The formation of Li2O on the cathode leads to the formation of species related to the generation of H2O together with LiOH and to changes within the electrolyte, which eventually result in diminished performance. Protection from, or mitigation of, such devastating surface reactions on both electrodes will be necessary to help realize the potential of high-capacity cathode materials (270 mAhg(-1) versus 140 mAhg(-1) for LiCoO2) for practical applications.

Portal akademik MIKA adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbentuk aplikasi web yang merupakan produk internal sistem informasi STMIK Mikroskil. Portal akademik MIKA merupakan sistem yang kompleks yang melibatkan banyak user (mahasiswa, dosen, dan pegawai) yang menggunakan portal akademik MIKA untuk kepentingan akademis yang berbeda-beda dan fitur yang dapat diakses juga berbeda-beda. Oleh sebab itu, maka sangat penting untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan user terutama mahasiswa sebagai mayoritas user terhadap penggunaan portal akademik MIKA. Dalam proses pengukuran kepuasan portal akademik MIKA Mikroskil akan diterapkan sebuah metode yaitu End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). Pada penelitian ini metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 96 responden. Hasil penelitian dengan metode EUCS menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa puas dengan isi ketepatan, bentuk, kemudahan penggunaan, dan ketepatan waktu dalam pemanfaatan portal akademik MIKA Mikroskil. Faktor-faktor pada metode EUCS yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna adalah Accuracy, Ease of Use, dan Timeliness dimana Ease of Use lebih dominan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pengguna dibandingkan faktor-faktor lainnya. Sedangkan faktor-faktor metode EUCS yang tidak berpengaruh pada kepuasan pengguna adalah Content dan Format.

Die Corona-Pandemie entwickelt sich zu einer weltweiten Wirtschaftskrise. Dadurch droht auch eine neuerliche Eurokrise, denn die Eurozone ist heute noch fragiler als 2009ff. Zum einen wurde die Eurokrise in Südeuropa bis heute nicht überwunden, zum anderen war die institutionelle Reform der Architektur der Währungsunion in den vergangenen Jahren blockiert. Darüber hinaus steht mit Italien nun jenes Land im Fokus, in dem sich bereits vor der Corona-Pandemie die Widersprüche der ungleichen Entwicklung in Europa kumuliert und verdichtet haben. Vor diesem Hintergrund diskutiert der Artikel abschließend Gefahren und Chancen, die auf progressive Akteure angesichts einer neuen Eurokrise zukommen könnten.

Intermittent electricity generation from variable renewable energies will lead to an increased demand for flexibility options in the future. Power-to-heat-to-power storage technologies present high potentials for largescale application. However, investments in such technologies are still hampered by technical and economic challenges. To address the latter the possible revenues in electricity markets need to be analyzed. For this, we simulate the German electricity market in ambitious defossilization scenarios. We use different operational strategies for the storage (minimizing system costs versus maximizing storage profits) that show a wide range of storage profitability. The operator benefits from its attributed market power (i.e. assuming perfect foresight in a rolling horizon window) to generate positive net profits. Further research may focus on market situations with increased market competition.

Dampak pandemi covid 19 telah mengubah cara belajar dari offline menjadi online sehingga guru sebagai pemeran utama dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan harus memiliki kemampuan untuk menguasai teknologi pembelajaran online yaitu aplikasi Google Classroom sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran online. Untuk memenuhi hal ini maka perlu dilakukan pelatihan kepada guru-guru di SMA Panglima Polem Rantauprapat agar dapat menguasai ketrampilan penggunaan aplikasi ini. Dari hasil pelatihan didapatkan bahwa para guru terbantu untuk menguasai Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran dan akan digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar
