Hemangioblastomas (HBs) são neoplasias benignas comumente localizadas no cerebelo e medula espinhal e podem surgir de forma esporádica ou relacionados à Síndrome de von Hippel-Lindau (VHL). Quando há associação com a VHL, tumores multifocais podem surgir, diferentemente dos esporádicos, que são isolados. A VHL é uma doença hereditária relacionada ao desenvolvimento de tumores benignos e malignos, sendo os mais comuns os hemangioblastomas do Sistema Nervoso Central e os angiomas de retina. A doença é causada pela ineficácia do gene supressor de tumor VHL (pVHL) em um alelo no cromossomo 3p25-26. A presença da VHL em pacientes com HBs leva o paciente a um pior prognóstico, por facilitar a metastatização. Dessa forma, o objetivo da seguinte revisão é analisar a prevalência da Síndrome de von Hippel-Lindau em pacientes portadores de hemangioblastomas do Sistema Nervoso Central (SNC). Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica sistemática que utilizou as plataformas PubMed, SciELO e Google Scholar como bases de dados para pesquisa de artigos científicos, com recorte temporal entre 2016 e 2022, na língua inglesa. De acordo com o mecanismo de busca, 4 resultados foram encontrados após os critérios de exclusão nas bases de dados PubMed e Google Scholar. Constatou-se, portanto, que há moderada prevalência da VHL em pacientes portadores de HBs do SNC. Dentre os estudos, a menor taxa de prevalência da VHL em pacientes com HBs foi de 23%, enquanto a maior taxa foi de aproximadamente 60%, com uma média geral de ± 39,2%, ao serem considerados todos os estudos que envolveram esses pacientes.
Introdução: O câncer é uma das principais causas de morbidade e mortalidade no mundo, registrando anualmente aproximadamente 10 milhões de casos novos e 6 milhões de óbitos. No Brasil, as neoplasias correspondem a terceira causa de morte na população. Objetivo: Este estudo trata-se de uma análise transversal com objetivo de caracterizar a incidência de câncer de mama da população feminina durante a pandemia. Metodologia: Foi utilizado o painel de Oncologia do Datasus do período de 2018 a 2021, mulheres entre 35 e 39 anos com neoplasia maligna de mama, dos estados da Bahia (BA) e Rio Grande do Norte (RN). Resultados: Os resultados do presente estudo contribuíram para verificar a diminuição no número de casos diagnosticados de câncer devido a diversos fatores como ansiedade, estresse e principalmente o isolamento social imposto pela pandemia. Conclusão: Mostrou-se que a pandemia dificultou o acesso aos exames de rotina e prevenção para o diagnóstico deste, que é líder em letalidade.
ResumoObjetivo: Avaliar a saúde e o processo de aceitação corporal por mulheres com vitiligo de acordo com a literátura cientifíca. Método: O presente estudo compõe uma revisão narrativa da literatura, que buscará por meio de achados apresentar significados a temática por meio da busca teórica entre 2011 até o respectivo ano atual de 2022, exceto de algumas menções com anos anteriores que se definiram para melhor destacar o assunto.
