El ejercicio laboral se vio afectado por la pandemia para muchas mujeres, que en el mejor de los escenarios tuvieron que trasladarse a un contexto virtual. Eso significó compatibilizar la familia y las actividades domésticas con las tareas laborales. El objetivo de este estudio es comprender la experiencia emocional de un grupo de mujeres en ejercicio laboral en contexto de teletrabajo, desde el rol de la mujer instalado en la sociedad, frente a la virtualización de sus acciones laborales en medio de la pandemia. Se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a seis mujeres vinculadas a la gestión educativa. Mediante un análisis de contenido realizado al corpus de las entrevistas, se concluye que el exceso de carga laboral en contexto de la emergencia sanitaria significó un aumento sustancial de las actividades realizadas por las mujeres, que tuvieron que dialogar con el rol familiar que cumplen, enfrentar desafíos a la hora de acceder a elementos importantes para su correcto quehacer profesional. Esto ocasionó y aumentó el estrés y la ansiedad, productos del contexto actual, el teletrabajo, las clases virtuales y las condiciones del hogar donde conviven todos los aspectos anteriores. Se pudieron evidenciar familias de categorías vinculadas a la herencia y el patriarcado, roles socialmente marcados hacia la mujer junto a emociones de miedo y tristeza, así como la aparición de categorías emergentes como el compromiso social y los hábitos sociales y conductuales fuertemente arraigados.
Las matemáticas universitarias y, en particular el Cálculo 1, se caracteriza por un alto componente práctico y de ejercitación, hasta ahora desarrollada en aulas presenciales y no virtuales. El presente artículo indaga en las percepciones de un grupo de docentes de Cálculo 1 en una universidad privada chilena, hacia el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje vivido en el año académico 2020, marcado por un contexto de pandemia. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar las percepciones desarrolladas por las/os docentes hacia los recursos tecnológicos, principales desafíos y emociones desencadenadas. Los resultados dieron cuenta de percepciones de agotamiento y estrés, emociones desfavorables y desconocimiento tecnológico, así como un alto compromiso por sus estudiantes y gran vocación docente, caracterizada por rasgos de resiliencia y motivación intrínseca.
This article investigates the teaching-learning process of the subject Mathematics 1 in first year university students of commercial engineering at a private Chilean university during the academic year 2020. The objective of the study was to identify the perceptions that students had about the teaching-learning process of the observed subject, associated to the work with the interactive platform Aleks, in the context of pandemic. The results showed favorable perceptions, high recommendation, and a positive attitude to virtualized study, when accompanied by the platform used. The study supports the continuity of the use of Aleks in the observed subject and makes it possible to project a future expansion of its implementation in other subjects and careers.
