AbstRActHistory of architecture has been made from the buildings or in some cases, utopian projects executed or not. This, however, represents the end of a journey that often prevents us from recognizing the models and references. Even without the original documentation, in many buildings a closer look allows us to observe changes and variations, interpreted within a broader context, serve to know better the original idea of the architect. This is what we propose in the case of the Lonja de Valencia.
Court and courtiers: palatial development and influence from the royalpalace in the kingdom of Valencia between 13 th and 14 th centuries AbSTRACT A royal palace is no more than a large house. Our contribution will attempt to trace the genesis and development of some aulic existing models in the former Kingdom of Valencia between the 13 th and 15 th centuries.
What is the use of teaching History of Architecture in the 21st century? Whenever this question is posed, the work of the contemporary designer and the new architecture is considered. However, the growing importance of restorative activity, in which more and more professionals participate, invites a new reflection on the topic. This paper aims to claim a different view of the "utility" of the History of Architecture, also exposing some teaching experiences developed at the
