Breast milk given to infants aged 0 to 6 months without being given any additional food means exclusive breastfeeding. Exclusive breastfeeding can be influenced by several factors, one of which is the use of contraceptives. Inappropriate use of contraceptives can affect exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to determine the correlation between contraceptives and exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia in 2017. The design in this study is descriptive analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. This study examines the population of Women of the Childbearing Age. They are married and have children aged 0-6 months with a total sample of 1891 people, with a sampling technique using total sampling. The data was taken from the results of the 2017 Indonesian Health Demographic Survey. The data analysis of this study used the Chi-Square Statistical Test. The results of data analysis showed that 53 percent of Women of the Childbearing Age used contraception, and 47 percent did not use contraception. Meanwhile, 46 percent of Women of Childbearing Age gave exclusive breastfeeding, and 54 percent did not. The Chi-Square test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (p less than 0.05), which means a correlation between the use of contraceptives and exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia. ASI diberikan kepada bayi yang berusia 0 hingga 6 bulan tanpa diberikan makanan tambahan merupakan pengertian dari ASI Eksklusif. Pemberian ASI Eksklusif dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang salah satunya adalah penggunaan alat KB. Penggunaan alat KB yang tidak tepat dapat mempengaruhi pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan alat KB dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia tahun 2017. Rancangan penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini meneliti pada populasi WUS (Wanita Usia Subur) yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak terakhir umur 0-6 bulan dengan jumlah sampel sejumlah 1891 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampling memakai total sampling. Data diperoleh dari hasil SDKI (Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia) tahun 2017. Analisis data penelitian ini memakai Uji Statistik Chi-Square. Hasil analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa sebesar 53 persen WUS (Wanita Usia Subur) menggunakan KB dan 47 persen WUS (Wanita Usia Subur) tidak menggunakan KB. Sedangkan, sebesar 46 persen WUS (Wanita Usia Subur) memberikan ASI Eksklusif dan sebesar 54 persen WUS (Wanita Usia Subur) tidak memberikan ASI Eksklusif. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 (p kurang dari 0,05) yang berarti, terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan alat KB dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di Indonesia.
