Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan modul pembelajaran dalam materi SPLDV kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara kepada guru. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, terbukti ketika diberi pertanyaan oleh guru hanya siswa yang sama saja yang aktif. Pada saat observasi guru menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Buku yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar hanya buku paket. Guru masih menjadi sumber belajar utama. Belum terdapat bahan ajar terbaru yang digunakan saat pembelajaran. Lembar wawancara menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran matematika masih rendah. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan beragam dengan menggunakan pendekatan ceramah dan diskusi, Bahan ajar yang digunakan hanya buku paket. Sumber belajar yang perlu dikembangkan untuk membantu siswa mengatasi masalahnya dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi SPLDV bisa berupa modul. Abstract This study aims to analyze the development of learning modules in the SPLDV class VIII material. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the research were the students of class VIII totaling 22 students. Collecting data using observation sheets and interviews with teachers. The results of observations showed that there were still students who were less active in the learning process, it was proven when the teacher asked questions only the same students were active. At the time of observation the teacher used the lecture and discussion method. The books used as teaching materials are only textbooks. Teachers are still the main source of learning. There are no new teaching materials used during learning. The interview sheet shows that students' interest in learning mathematics is still low. The learning models used are varied using a lecture and discussion approach. The teaching materials used are only textbooks. Learning resources that need to be developed to help students overcome their problems in learning mathematics on SPLDV material can be in the form of modules.
