La educación a nivel global enfrenta nuevos retos en relación a la tecnología, los docentes como formadores de sociedades han tenido que evolucionar al ritmo de la era digital, existen nuevas exigencias pedagógicas y didácticas, que hoy en día deben ser incluidas en el Currículo de Química. Despertar el interés y comprensión del lenguaje químico es un reto académico cuando los discentes son nativos digitales. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo general relacionar las Herramientas Didácticas Digitales y el Aprendizaje de Química Inorgánica. El estudio es descriptivo, se realizó un análisis correlacional, por frecuencia y de rendimiento académico, se emplearon cuadros de frecuencia acumulada por variables de estudio, Rho de Spearman y gráficas estadísticas. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 274 estudiantes de primer año de bachillerato de la Institución Fiscal “Miguel de Santiago” y 3 docentes de Química del Área de Ciencias Naturales. A partir de los resultados se encontró una relación significativa de 0,759, entre las Herramientas Didácticas Digitales y el Aprendizaje de Química Inorgánica. Los discentes y docentes afirman que se promueven diferentes tipos y estilos de aprendizaje durante la enseñanza de Química Inorgánica. Las Herramientas Word Wall, Jeopardy Labs, simuladores virtuales y realidad aumentada son recursos interactivos que despiertan el interés y facilitan la comprensión de la asignatura. De los 10 paralelos de primero de bachillerato que fueron objeto de análisis el 75,26 % dominó y alcanzó los aprendizajes requeridos de promoción anual, cuando utilizaron el software educativo Moodle, cumpliendo con los estándares de calidad educativa y de aprendizaje de Química que determina el Ministerio de Educación.
