Le lupus érythémateux systé-mique est une maladie auto-immune non spécifique d'organe dont les manifestations hématologiques sont fréquentes. Le but de ce travail est d'analyser chez 80 patients atteints de lupus les caractéristiques épidémiologiques des manifestations hématologiques au cours du lupus érythé-mateux systémique (LES). Méthodes : Il s'agit d'une étude rétrospec-tive portant sur 80 cas de LES pendant la période qui s'étale entre 1990 et Mai 2005. Résultats : 70 patients parmi les 80 atteints de LES avaient des manifestations héma-tologiques dont 65 femmes et 5 hommes. Leur âge moyen était de 32,41 ans. La manifestation hématologique la plus fréquente dans ce travail est l'anémie (83,75 %), vient ensuite la bicytopénie (63,75 %) puis leucopénie et/ou lymphopénie (62,5 %).

The aim of this study was to assess the epidemiological aspects of haematological manifestations among 80 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Methods: A retrospective study of 80 SLE patients covering the period between 1990 and May 2005.Results: From among the 80 patients with SLE, 70 had haematological manifestations, of which 65 women and 5 men. Average age was 32.41 years. The most commonly-observed haematological manifestation was anaemia (83.75%), followed by bicytopaenia (63.75%) then leukocytopaenia and/or lymphocytopaenia (62.5).
