Premium reserve is a number of funds that need to be raised by insurance company in preparation for the payment of claims when the policyholder dies. One of the simplest methods to calculate premium reserving is the prospective premium reserve modified using Canadian method which is a modification of the prospective method. Calculation in this study is using Indonesian Mortality Table (TMI) 2011 This study aims to determine the premium reserves using the Canadian method of endowment joint life insurance. Joint life insurance participants in this study are limited to 2 people. The calculation of premium reserves in this study using TMI 2011, starting with calculating the value of annuities, net annual premiums, annual premiums modified based on the Canadian method, and premium reserves at the end of the t-year in the endowment joint life insurance.
Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. This infectious disease generally occurs not only in children but also attack adults and the nature of its transmission is so capidly. The purpose of this research is to build a model and analyze the SEITR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Treatment-Recovered) mathematical model. The results obtained from the SEITR model have two equilibrium points, namely disease-free and endemic. Model analysis was performed using the Routh-Horwitz criteria to identify the eigenvalues. Based on the results of the stability analysis that the disease-free equilibrium point were stable if the condition for the relationship between parameters were met. At the end of the study,on the simulation that has been carried out it is found that this disease will when is 0,58 and this disease will be epidemic when is 2,80.
Mandar coconut oil made in Tulu village, Majene Regency, West of Sulawesi, is very popular among Sulawesi Barat people. It is because of the unique aroma which is not owned by other Mandar oil traders. In addition, according to Mandar coconut oil trader who is also the produsen of Mandar oil said that his coconut oil could be stored for months. This research aimed to know the influence of water content and free fatty acid content on Mandar coconut oil shelf life. Gravimetric Method and Alkaline method were used to determine the water content and the free fatty acid content respectively. The oil was stored at room temperature. Water content and free acid content were measured every week, i.e week zero to week four (5 observations). Shelf life estimation was done by applying the kinetic theory. The result shows that the water content and the free fatty acid content increase as shelf life increases. Mandar coconut oil can be stored at room temperature for 1 month, 12 days. Ujian Nasional (UN) merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan evaluasiprogram yang bertujuan untuk menilai pencapaian standar kompetensi lulusan peserta didik secara nasional. Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diujikan dalam Ujian Nasional. Mengingat pentingnya pelaksanaan ujian nasional serta banykanya anggapan bahwa matematika itu sulit dan menakutkan, pengabdi melakukan kegiatan Tryout Persiapan Ujian Nasional Bagi Siswa-Siswi Kelas IX Mts. Guppi untuk mempersiapkan siswa SMP sederajat dalam menghadapi ujian nasional khususnya untuk Mata Pelajaran Matematika. Metode atau tahapan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah identifikasi sekolah mitra, persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 21 peserta dan dilaksanakan selama 2 (dua) kali pertemuan yaitu pertemaun pertama pelaksanaan tryout dan pertemuan kedua pembahasan soal. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian hari pertama adalah rata-rata setiap soal dijawab benar oleh 5 sampai dengan 6 orang siswa yang mengikuti tryout. Kegiatan hari kedua diikuti dengan antusias oleh peserta kegiatan. Dengan kegiatan ini siswa-siswi mendapatkan gambaran tentang pelaksanaan ujian nasional dan memiliki kesiapan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal ujian nasional khususnya untuk mata pelajaran matematika
Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an infectious disease caused by bacteria and an unhealthy environment. The number of sufferers of this disease tends to increase and expand. The purpose of this study was to construct a mathematical model of the SEHAR epidemic (Suspectible-Exposed-Infected-Asthma-Recovered), analyze the stability of the equilibrium point and simulate the model. The results obtained are the SEHAR mathematical model for the spread of ARI disease which produces a disease-free equilibrium point and an endemic equilibrium point from the model. The method used is the stability analysis of the model using the Routh-Hurwitz Criteria to identify the characteristics of the eigenvalues. From the results of the stability analysis, it is found that the disease-free equilibrium point Eo and the endemic equilibrium point E1 are stable if the conditions for the relationship between parameters are met. At the end of the study, a simulation model was given using the Maple application
