Providing security for transmitted data through the e-commerce environment requires using a fast and high secure encryption algorithm. Balancing between the speed and the security degree is a problem that many of the encryption algorithms suffer from. Increasing the security degree requires increasing the level of complexity which results in increasing encryption time. On the other hand, increasing the algorithm speed may reduce the complexity degree which affects the security level. This paper aims to design an encryption algorithm that balances time and complexity (speed and security). This is done by suggesting a security environment that depends on creating and providing an agent software to be settled into each customer device that manages the purchase and security process without customer interference. The suggested encryption algorithm is applied within this environment. Several modifications are performed on the AES encryption algorithm. The AES was chosen due to its performance (security and speed), which makes it suitable for encrypting transmitted data over the Internet. These modifications involve adding preprocessing steps (padding and zigzag), eliminating Sub Byte step, and reducing the number of rounds. The experimental results showed that the suggested algorithm provides more security and speed in the encryption and decryption process. The randomness degree has increased by 29.5%. The efficiency is increased because the encryption and decryption times are reduced, as is the CPU usage. The throughput for the suggested algorithm is increased by 10% for the encryption process and is increased by 9.3% for the decryption process.
The technological development in the devices and services provided via the Internet and the availability of modern devices and their advanced applications, for most people, have led to an increase in the expansion and a trend towards electronic commerce. The large number and variety of goods offered on e-commerce websites sometimes make the customers feel overwhelmed and sometimes make it difficult to find the right product. These factors increase the amount of competition between global commercial sites, which increases the need to work efficiently to increase financial profits. The recommendation systems aim to improve the e-commerce systems performance by facilitating the customers to find the appropriate products according to their preferences. There are lots of recommendation system algorithms that are implemented for this purpose. However, most of these algorithms suffer from several problems, including: cold start, sparsity of user-item matrix, scalability, and changes in user interest. This paper aims to develop a recommendation system to solve the problems mentioned before and to achieve high realistic prediction results this is done by building the system based on the customers’ behavior and cooperating with the statistical analysis to support decision making, to be employed on an e-commerce site and increasing its performance. The project contribution can be shown by the experimental results using precision, recall, F-function, mean absolute error (MAE), and root mean square error (RMSE) metrics, which are used to evaluate system performance. The experimental results showed that using statistical methods improves the decision-making that is employed to increase the accuracy of recommendation lists suggested to the customers.

When creating an e-commerce website, there are several goals that must be taken into account, one of them is how to Increase the site’s efficiency to ensure customer turnout and thus achieve the required material profits. There are several methods that are followed to increase the efficiency of the site. One of these methods is the recommender system. This paper produces a study overview of the value of recommended systems and thoroughly analyzed Collaborative Recommender System (CF) techniques with its techniques., which presents proposals to customers according to their interests, making it easier for the customer to search and thus choose the goods that suit him.
Providing security for the customers in the e-commerce system is an essential issue. Providing security for each single online customer at the same time is considered a time consuming process. For a huge websites such task may cause several problems including response delay, losing the customer orders and system deadlock or crash, in which reduce system performance. This paper aims to provide a new prototype structure of multi agent system that solve the problem of providing security and avoid the problems that may reduce system performance. This is done by creating a software agent which is settled into the customer device to be responsible of purchase and encryption process without the customer interfering. The proposed agent avoids the problem of deadlock (i.e., break down) and the loss of requests which provides the required protection for information transmitted among all entities. Experimental results showed that employing software agent to manage purchase and encryption tasks improve system performance by 10% and increase system response time by 30.5%.
<p><br />The huge development of internet technologies and the widespread of modern and advanced devices lead to an increase in the size and diversity of e-commerce system development. These developments lead to an increase in the number of people that navigate these sites asking for their services and products. Which leads to increased competition in this field. Moreover, the expansion in the size of currency traded makes transaction protection an essential issue in this field. Providing security for each online client especially for a huge number of clients at the same time, causing an overload on the system server. This problem may lead to server deadlock, especially at rush time, which reduce system performance. To solve security and performance problems, this research suggests a prototype design for agent software. This agent will play the role of broker between the clients and the electronic marketplace. This is done by providing security inside the client device and converting the client’s order into a special form which is called a record form to be sent to the commercial website. Experimental results showed that this method increase system performance in terms of page loading time, transaction processing and improves the utilization of system resources.</p>
