Peran tingkat konsentrasi mahasiswa untuk menerima informasi atau materi dalam pembelajaran menjadi salah satu faktor yang menentukan hasil belajar. Keseimbangan antara otak kanan dan kiri menjadi salah satu hal yang menentukan aspek kognitif, sehingga apabila keduanya dapat berkembang maka kemampuan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran nantinya diharapkan dapat meningkat. Sebanyak 85% mahasiswa PGMI Universitas Islam Lamongan mengalami kesulitan dalam berkonsentrasi ketika perkuliahan sehingga dampaknya adalah hasil belajarpun mengalami penurunan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih konsentrasi mahasiswa melalui gerakan brain gym. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yakni diawali dengan pemberian kuisioner untuk mengetahui tingkat konsentrasi mahasiswa, penyampaian materi tentang brain gym, praktek brain gym secara virtual. Peserta pelatihan brain gym sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut yakni mahasiswa mampu melatih gerakan brain gym sehingga dapat memperbaiki rentang konsentrasi dan dapat memberikan pengalaman bagi mahasiswa selaku calon guru sekolah dasar.
To realize the creative Human resources could be done through education or structured learning by implementing the model of synectic learning which was an important demands. The model of learning had syntax that could stimulate the students' creativities. The research as one of method in examining the difference result of learning creativities between the synectic model and the conventional learning model. The research used experiment test. The sample collection used cluster random sampling about 2 classes learning of Indonesian Language, when the first was controll class that learned the conventional method and the other class was experiment class that learned the synectic learning model. And the research analysis used the independent sample t-test. The research showed that the were influences between synectic learning model toward the students' creativities about the Indonesian Language material.
In the 21st century, one of the learning outcomes that students must have is creativity. Creating creative human resources can be through education or learning, one of which is by using a synectic learning model. The synectic learning model has a syntax that can foster student creativity. This study aimed to examine differences in the creative learning outcomes of students who are taught with the synectic model and students who learn using conventional learning models. The research method used is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted in January-February 2020. The population of this study was students in grade 3 at MI Bahrul Ulum Blawi with Indonesian subjects. The sampling method used was cluster random sampling. In this study, the sample was 2 classes using random sample sampling, one class as a control class taught using conventional methods, and one class as an experimental class taught using the synectic learning model. The number of research subjects in the experimental class was 22 students, and the control class consisted of 20 students. The research analysis used an independent sample t-test. The study results concluded that there was an influence between the synectic learning model on students' creativity in Indonesian lessons.
