El propósito del presente artículo está dirigido a generar espacios de reflexión en el ámbito socioeducativo que permitan la constitución de una pedagogía innovadora a partir de un giro fenomenológico en su apuesta comprensiva en reivindicación del ser desde el aprendizaje autónomo. Tal abordaje discursivo dará respuestas a la inquietud en torno a una pedagogía donde prevalezca no solo el cambio educativo, sino también la transformación de la existencia, y así poder brindar aportes a otras producciones de índole académica e investigativa, producto de superar teorías y enfoques para comprender y transformar el hecho educativo asociado a la esfera de valores de la realidad actual ecuatoriana a escala mundial, los cuales son inherentes tanto a los estudiantes, como a los docentes, donde las ciencias agógicas tienen gran incidencia en un intento de construir una metódica en materia de aprendizaje, la cual ha sido una de las principales preocupaciones de la humanidad desde Sócrates a nuestra era. En tanto, es pertinente hacer un recorrido fenomenológico a partir de la emergencia de las disciplinas en ámbitos no filosóficos de Alfred Schütz, autor que incorpora las herramientas analíticas de Husserl para el estudio de problemas sociológicos. En atención a la antes expuesto, se desprende que el aprendizaje autónomo es concebido como un proceso centrado en la formación del ser social tras desarrollar en él un pensamiento crítico; de allí que la pedagogía sea deudora de la fenomenología a los efectos de construir y reconstruir saberes.
