The turmeric essential oil is widely used in traditional and modern system of medicine due to the presence of several medicinal properties like antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiworm, antiallergic, anti-parasitic, antinociceptive, anti-platelet, antimutagenic and antiarthritic properties etc 3 6 .
