Aims to evaluate the effect of light intensity on the degree of conversion of polyacidmodified composite resin. Materials and methods: Fourteen samples were prepared and divided randomly to four groups according to Light Intensity. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) is used in order to measure the degree of conversion. Results and discussion: Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Duncan multiple range test were used for analysis. The study showed that at 1mm depth the polyacid-modified composite resin has a difference in the degree of conversion at different intensities. As the light intensity increased, the degree of conversion measure was increased.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
