A large number of productive age populations in Indonesia are tagged reliable human resources, assuming they have a good quality of life (QoL). This study aims to examine the determinant factors related to QoL based on the 2014 Indonesia Family Life Survey. This is a population-based cross-sectional study comprising 13 368 participants aged 15 to 64 years from 23 provinces. The analysis was carried out to construct a composite indicator of QoL. The result showed that the low prevalence of 54% among the general population needs to be ameliorated. Demographic factors (eg, age, marital status, and education), primary activities, pain, and chronic illnesses were significantly related to QoL and used to provide supporting information.
Latar Belakang: Dampak yang paling banyak dialami penderita pasca stroke adalah kelemahan otot ekstremitas yang dapat menghambat aktivitas sehari-hari. Tujuan: Peneliitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan latihan range of motion pada penderita pasca stroke. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan keluarga. Asuhan keperawatan diberikan pada dua keluarga dengan anggota keluarga mengalami stroke dalam 6 bulan terakhir dan mengalami kelemahan otot lengan dan tungkai. Pengukuran kekuatan otot menggunakan Manual Muscle Test. Hasil: Diagnosa keperawatan keluarga yang dapat diidentifikasi adalah hambatan mobilitas fisik penderita pasca stroke berhubungan dengan kelemahan otot, kurangnya pengetahuan keluarga berhubungan dengan ketidakmampuann mengenal masalah dan risiko jatuh berhubungan dengan kurangnya kemampuan keluarga dalam memodifikasi lingkungan rumah sehat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kekuatan otot sebesar satu skala Manual Muscle Test. Kesimpulan: Manajemen penatalaksanaan dini dengan metode yang tepat pada penderita pasca stroke dengan kelemahan otot sangat diperlukan. Pentingnya peran keluarga dalam memberikan latihan range of motion untuk mencegah kecacatan permanen akibat kelemahan otot pasca stroke.
Hypertension is a condition of increased pressure that can cause various complications. This study aims to determine the effect of giving lavender aromatherapy to hypertensive clients with comfort disorders. This research uses a case study method with a nursing process approach. The study was conducted on March 25, 2022 to March 10, 2022. The number of respondents was 2 people with an intervention time of 4 days. The research was conducted in the working area of 23 Ilir Health Center Palembang. The results showed that after the intervention of giving lavender aromatherapy, there was a change in the pain scale from a pain scale of 5 to 1 in 2 clients. The intervention of giving lavender aromatherapy has an effect on reducing the comfort of hypertensive clients with headaches
Background. the prevalence of hypertension is currently increasing and primary care is the main service in the prevention and management of hypertension. This study aims to obtain an overview of the management of hypertension non-communicable diseases (PTM) in primary care. Methods. Qualitative descriptive research with participants 13 health workers consisting of 12 nurses and 1 midwife, the program responsible for non-communicable diseases (PTM) of the health office and the Puskesmas in Palembang City. Data collection was carried out through Focus Group Discussions with discussion guide instruments. Thematic analysis is carried out on information presented in a narrative manner that describes themes, categories and keywords. Results. the study obtained five themes, namely the health problems of hypertensive patients with physical, psychosocial and social categories; the form of hypertension PTM building services with the category of services in the health center and services outside the building; information needs of Hypertension patients with information categories of signs and symptoms of hypertension, treatment, care; program implementation support in the categories of policy, community participation, government, patient groups and families and obstacles to program implementation in the category of low awareness of hypertension patients, lack of participation of cadres, limited resources (HR), program achievement targets that are difficult to realize Conclusion. the research program managing non-communicable diseases Hypertension in primary care have been implemented, although there are obstacles in achieving the program.
Latar Belakang : Kesejahteraan subyektif merupakan penilaian seseorang terhadap kepuasan hidupnya secara keseluruhan. Tujuan studi ini untuk menguji validitas konstruk kesejahteraan subyektif, serta mengetahui perubahan skor kesejahteraan subyektif penduduk usia produktif Indonesia tahun 2007 ke 2014. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi kohort retrospektif menggunakan data Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS). Penelitian ini memantau penduduk usia 15-57 tahun pada IFLS4 (tahun 2007) yang kemudian dilakukan pengukuran ulang pada IFLS5 tahun 2014. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 8.920 orang. Konstruk kesejahteraan subyektif dibangun dari delapan indikator yang diusulkan. Uji konstruk kesejahteraan subyektif menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Hasil : Dari analisis diperoleh hasil bahwa delapan indikator mempunyai validitas yang baik (SLF>0,3) untuk mengukur kesejahteraan subyektif. Rata-rata skor kesejahteraan subyektif penduduk usia produktif tahun 2007 sebesar 1,04 dan meningkat sebesar 0,77 poin pada tahun 2014. Kesimpulan : Pengukuran kesejahteraan subyektif dapat menjadi informasi yang melengkapi indikator kesejahteraan objektif yang mencerminkan keberhasilan pembangunan suatu bangsa.
