Organic waste can be used for something of value, such as compost, feed pellet, biomass pellet, and briquette. Before becoming such things, it takes a tool to make it smoother, called a crusher. The objective of this work is to do mechanical design and 3-D modeling on organic waste crusher. The steps for designing the organic waste crusher involve determining a conceptual physical geometry, conducting mechanical design, and finally, developing a 3-D working drawing. Manufacturing and testing of the crusher were conducted. 3-D modelling design was used for visualizing space requirements, improves drawing efficiency and accuracy. Mechanical design was applied for hopper, frame and blade. 3-D modeling process was used to draft the working drawing of an organic waste crusher. 3-D designing is very useful for providing accuracy. Mechanical design of designed crusher was determined. The working drawings of designed crusher are also presented. The leaf crushed with the designed crusher was ready for composting.

Cocoa waste can still be used as something useful such as compost. The objective of this work is to make an organic waste crusher machine from cocoa waste. The method was the determination of systematic crushing, functional design, draw the crusher, making a prototype of the crusher machine, and performing functional test of the crusher. The crusher machine has been designed and provided. Functional tests conducted indicate that the machine can chop cocoa waste so that it can be further processed as compost.

The aim of this research is to design the mixer for a digester to produce biogas. The mixer is designed to mix various sludge types in all anaerobic digestion applications, in order to achieve a homogeneous mixture in tanks. It has four main parts consisting of lever players, two sets of the support frame, and two sets of blades. The mixer is enclosed in a dome-type digester made from fiberglass with 2.2-meter height, 1.8-meter diameter, and 5.6 cubic meter digester volume. The mixed volume in the stirred digester is 5 cubic meters. With small size, it is suitable for small and medium enterprises in sewage treatment to produce biogas.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
