Este trabalho traz como proposta o uso de uma Sequência Didática (SD), incluindo prática experimental, destinada a alunos do terceiro ano do Ensino Médio, sendo um produto educacional para auxiliar o professor no ensino de Física na abordagem dos principais tópicos do Eletromagnetismo. A SD é composta de aulas teóricas, metodológicas e experimentais, utilizando um experimento confeccionado com materiais de fácil acesso, o qual já foi exposto em três eventos científicos. O experimento intitulado “motor de Indução de Faraday” é apresentado neste artigo com o objetivo de demonstrar de forma compreensível a Lei de Indução de Faraday do ponto de vista conceitual e propiciar aos discentes o desenvolvimento do conhecimento científico a partir de atividades experimentais e teóricas. Ao final das atividades é sugerida a aplicação de um questionário, o qual atua como forma de avaliação quantitativa e complementa a avaliação qualitativa feita no decorrer da execução da sequência de aulas didáticas, onde é esperado que os alunos tenham uma participação sempre ativa, pois em todos os processos é necessária a participação integral dos alunos, ou seja, uma avaliação formativa. Seguindo este roteiro, tem-se o intuito de que os discentes adquiram informações suficientes para debater sobre os fenômenos observados a partir da experimentação.
