Background:In the process pregnancy-postpartum, the role of the husband is very important and necessary. It is highly expected for the husbands to accompany their wives, so that their wives can have healthy pregnancy which is later able to give birth a healthy baby and the mothers can survive. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of husband's knowledge regarding Antenatal Care (ANC) and Early High-Risk Detection, husband behavior in the pregnancy-postpartum care with reproductive health problems experienced by wife and to determine which variable that has the greatest effect among the three variables. Metohdes: This research is an analytical observation, carried out in the working area of Tinggede Health Center which includes 3 villages namely Sunju, Tinggede and South Tinggede the research target is all husbands who have pregnant wife (second pregnancy) and have children under two years old with a total of 180 husbands. The survey was carried out on 180 husbands. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations and FGDs. Data analysis technique with Chi Square value test (p <0.05) Results: The results showed that the level of husband's knowledge about Antenatal Care and early detection of high risk was low, 58.88% and 56.66%, respectively. Husband behavior in pregnancy care was also categorized as less healthy/bad, i.e., 55.55%, and the prevalence of wife's respondents who experienced reproductive health problems was 57.7%. Husband's knowledge about ANC, early detection of high-risk pregnancy, and husband behavior in pregnancy care had a significant relationship to reproductive health problems (p<0.05). The highest frequency of husband's participation in the pregnancy-postpartum care is making referrals to the healthcare facilities by 79%, Husband behavior in pregnancy care has the greatest effect on maternal reproductive health problems with a P value = 0.001. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the husband's knowledge regarding ANC and early detection of pregnancy and postpartum period has an effect on maternal reproductive health in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. It's expected that the development of models for improving husband's Information, Advocacy and Communication (IAC) of reproductive health could be a preventive effort in improving women's reproductive health.
This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of panic and the various media disaster information modalities available during and after a natural disaster event. The method used was a Mix Methods Research Approach, which is a combination of qualitative descriptive and quantitative exploratory approaches. There were 150 respondents for the three research locations at Palu City, Sigi Regency and Donggala Regency. Respondents were selected by considering the event conditions experienced, physical damage to their house and their educational background. Media sources of disaster information analyzed were TV, internet, mobile phone (WA/SMS), radio, mosque/church, surau, community leaders and word of mouth. The data used was Likert scale analyses for perception tested with Rank Spearman Correlation. The results showed that the most significant panic level (α<0.01) was when the internet was not working, cellphones could not be used, and radio broadcasts could not be received. The most effective sources of disaster information in promoting a resilience attitude were guidance and advice from community leaders and ecological communication that was built from word of mouth. The exposure to natural disasters was shown to unite peoples’ hearts in friendship. despite some did not communicate with each other before the disaster, some were even hostile. As many as 78.6% of respondents admitted that the affection between them as victims actually appeared when natural disasters destroyed the joints of their lives, even amongst those who did not communicate with each other, or were even hostile, before the disaster. Out of ecological communication, a “strong hug due to natural disasters” was born.
Sustainable development has become one of the strategic issues in the tourism industry. Sustainability is an action that combines environmental, sociocultural, and economic concepts. The tourism industry has had good benefits on economic and social growth. Still, if it is not adequately planned and managed, it can have harmful consequences on the environment. This research aims to present a sustainable development strategy for Palu Bay Marine Tourism following a natural disaster. The A'WOT hybrid method (AHP-SWOT) was used to achieve the research objectives. The A'WOT method is a combination of a SWOT analysis and the AHP method. This research was done on Palu Bay tourism, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. This research resulted in a sustainable development strategy for Palu Bay tourism related to the diversity of products and improvement of event management, an improved image of Palu Bay tourism, improvement in the visitor management system to minimize environmental impacts, and efficient and effective promotion and branding. Greenhouse gases dominated by CO2, CH4, CFC, and N2O come from human (anthropogenic) activities. Efforts to increase the production of rice and corn crops require organic and inorganic fertilizers. The use of chemical fertilizers, which can increase greenhouse gas emissions, is higher than that of organic fertilizers. This study aimed to investigate the reduction in the greenhouse gas emission rate and the increase in crop production caused by organic fertilizer from rice straw and cocoa peel, a community-based sustainable development approach based on education. This research used the mixed method, a descriptive and simple experimental design with the following treatments: t0 = without Compost; ta = straw rice compost dosage of 3 t ha-1; tb = cocoa pod husk dosage of 3 t ha-1; Bta = maize crops + without compost (t0); Btb = maize crops + cocoa pod husk compost (tb); Sta = bare soil + without compost (t0); Stb = rice crops + straw compost (ta); Stc = rice crops + cocoa pod husk compost (tb); and Std = rice crops + without compost (t0). The application of compost reduced agricultural waste and greenhouse gas emissions of CH4 and N2O in both maize and rice fields. Greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by 30 percent compared to those under the application of chemical fertilizers. The utilization of compost as organic fertilizer also increased the production of corn and rice crops compared to that without the application of agricultural waste up to 10.3 tons per ha.
