Sara Wagner York ou Sara Wagner Pimenta Gonçalves Júnior, apresenta-se como Travesti da/na Educação - em razão da decisão judicial (de 2017) que concede o direito ao uso de um nome feminino, mas não a readequação de gênero. É uma pessoa com deficiência visual, pai, avó, é Mestra em Educação (GENI/ProPEd / UERJ - com bolsa CNPq), Especialista em Gênero e Sexualidades (CLAM / Instituto de Medicina Social - UERJ - com bolsa da própria instituição) e Especialista em Orientação Escolar, Supervisão Escolar e Inspeção Escolar (ISV). Graduada em Letras - Literatura Inglesa (Licenciatura / UNESA), Pedagogia (Licenciatura / UERJ) e Letras Vernáculas e Literaturas Brasileiras, Portuguesas e Africanas em Língua Portuguesa (Licenciatura / UNESA), cursou Jornalismo (UNESA/2021-2023) é considerada a primeira âncora do jornalismo brasileiro através da mídia (pós TV) Brasil 247. Voluntária na ONG Britânica Sahir House no Reino Unido (2011/2012), onde trabalhou em ações de inclusão social e permanência de refugiados oriundos do Oriente Médio, América Latina e África. Recebeu a Medalha ALUMNI da Universidade Estácio de Sá (2017) pela luta na implantação do nome social, nas plataformas educacionais da instituição nacionalmente e por atuar junto à comunidade carioca pela trans-inclusão. Recebeu o Diploma de reconhecimento e gratidão em atividades durante a pandemia de COVID-19 da Câmara Municipal do Rio de Janeiro - RJ (2021). Conferida pela Câmara Municipal da cidade do Rio de Janeiro com a Medalha de Reconhecimento Chiquinha Gonzaga (2023). Prêmio Antonieta de Barros em relevância aos mês das mulheres pela Assembleia Legislativa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (ALERJ-2023). Membro da Associação Nacional de pessoas trans e travestis - ANTRA e da Rede Campanha Pelo Direito à Educação. Membro do Comitê Científico de Acessibilidade da ANPED - Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação, Segunda secretária financeira da ABEH - Associação Brasileira de Estudos da Transhomocultura(2021-2023). É professora mediadora na disciplina de Informática em Educação no curso de Pedagogia / Ensino à Distância na UERJ. Membro cofundadora da CIPAAI - Câmara de Implementação de Políticas Afirmativas Antirracistas e Interseccionais da UERJ. Atualmente é doutoranda em Educação pela Faculdade de Formação de Professores da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - (GESDI/FFP/UERJ). Pesquisa: desigualdades e a diferença, a laicidade e o backlash e a bio/necropolítica e as identidades como estruturas determinantes para a EXCLUSÃO/inclusão travesti/trans no contexto homo-conversador-nacionalista brasileiro. Interessa-se pelos feminismos interseccionais, QUEER e CRIP. Pesquisa, traduz e escreve sobre TRANSEPISTEMOLOGIAS (e o corpo Intersexo) na Edu(comuni)cação. O presente artigo traz algumas das discussões contemporânea apresentadas pelos Estudos Feministas e os Estudos Queer, abordando o debate entre a filósofa estadunidense Judith Butler e o filósofo espanhol e transfeminista Paul B.
