Animais sinantrópicos ganham cada vez mais espaço em áreas urbanas e convivem com o homem devido à crescente degradação ambiental. O método mais utilizado no gerenciamento de controle das infestações de roedores no ambiente urbano é a utilização de iscas rodenticidas comerciais, sujeitas às condições climáticas do ambiente. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a contaminação fúngica ambiental de blocos rodenticidas parafinados e não parafinados, distribuídos nas diferentes estações em um ano. Â Foi observada a contaminação por diversos gêneros fúngicos do ambiente e que a frequência de fungos contaminantes variou de acordo com os diversos fatores bióticos e abióticos, encontrados nas diferentes estações do ano, entre setembro de 2010 a setembro de 2011. Porém o predomínio do fungo Penicillium spp. indica ser este fungo o responsável pela contaminação das duas formas de apresentação (com ou sem parafina) independente das condições climáticas. O correto manejo de iscas comerciais para o controle de pragas está associado às condições ambientais, necessitando de um cronograma por sazonalidade para a substituição das iscas, a fim de reduzir a degradação fúngica e manter a qualidade dos produtos comercializados, para uso no ambiente externo e consequente execução do manejo integrado de roedores, de forma eficiente.
