This work aimed to compare the consumption of electricity between two different microenterprises in the local market. Surveys were carried out on how much the process to produce and keep their products stored consumes electricity and how the older equipment in micro-enterprises increases electricity costs. In view of this, a comparison was made of the consumption in Kwh of the companies studied. In its second and third stages, the research sought to find out the effect on the acquisition of more economical equipment, adhering to the financing services of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development - BNDES, through the BNDES Finem financing line. Having as a comparison the consumption of electricity between them. According to the data acquired in the field visit, a graph was created that presents information on the energy consumption of the two companies studied, through calculations of the average consumption in kiloWatt-hour (kwh).
