O projeto do esclarecimento (Aufklärung) era desencantar o mundo, substituir o “alegórico” por uma razão esclarecedora. Esse leitmotiv era fundamental para que o ser humano pudesse alcançar a sua autonomia e ter a coragem de usar o seu próprio entendimento (sapere aude). No entanto, este projeto fracassou. O esclarecimento, ao invés de conduzir o indivíduo à autonomia desembocou num processo de semiformação (Halbbildung) que provocou a perda da identidade e a reificação do individuo. O que hoje presenciamos, portanto, é resultado de um esgotamento da formação (Bildung). Nossa intenção, a partir de uma leitura da filosofia de Theodor W. Adorno é assinalar pontos de crítica ao atual sistema educacional que forma indivíduos para se submeterem passivamente ao processo de competitividade do mercado. A formação para a emancipação não é apenas um aparato ideológico, mas um desvelamento das condições do sujeito que é sujeitado, do sujeito que se sujeita e das possibilidades concretas doousar saber, ocultas na ordem social vigente. Cabe a educação, portanto, através da crítica a Halbbildung, demonstrar as contradições existentes na formação social efetiva, propiciando, assim, sua própria emancipação.
O objeto do presente artigo concerne ao exame do conceito de senso comum teórico dos juristas e à investigação a respeito de suas funções sob a égide da Teoria Crítica do Direito desenvolvida por Luís Alberto Warat. Estrutura-se, assim, em duas etapas: a primeira, de caráter semântico, adstrita à conceituação e significação do objeto de pesquisa; e a segunda, de jaez teleológico-funcional, atinente à identificação de regiões e de suas funções ou efeitos.
De que forma a igualdade de oportunidades se torna um mecanismo para perpetuar as desigualdades escolares? Não seria a ideia de igualdade de oportunidades mais ilusória do que real? Qual é a experiência e o lugar dos que estão à margem no sistema educacional? Ao tentar explicar os mecanismos geradores da desigualdade escolar, ao mesmo tempo em que incita o debate acerca do modo como a escola contribui para reproduzir – e não para determinar – a estrutura social com seus processos específicos e sua particular organização, Dubet quer mostrar que o espaço da escola não é neutro, muito menos justo, ou ainda, promotora de igualdade de oportunidades, mas insere um componente fundamental para entendermos o modus operandi da instituição escola hoje como signo da competitividade e, consequentemente, da violência. O objetivo do presente texto, desde as análises de François Dubet, é pensar o lugar da escola no debate acerca não só da promoção da igualdade, mas também – e principalmente – no combate às desigualdades. Last but not least, a questão central que aqui queremos levantar é como garantir uma educação de qualidade para todos, em ambientes cada vez mais heterogêneos, e, mais ainda, dentro de um sistema cada vez mais enfraquecido, a saber, o nosso atual sistema educacional.
A Dialética negativa é uma das mais importantes obras do pensamento de Theodor W. Adorno, não apenas devido ao fato de que ali ele expõe os pressupostos epistemológicos fundamentais para a compreensão de sua constelação – método de análise e procedimentos –, mas também porque nela a ideia de experiência filosófica é, efetivamente, exercício do pensamento. A proposta do presente texto é tratar a figura-chave pensar em modelos, a partir de outro modelo de pensamento, leia-se, a intricada relação teoria e prática.
