INTRODUÇÃO: O uso elevado e as vezes inadequado de antimicrobianos é o principal fator relacionado ao aumento de incidência de microorganismos multirresistentes. Tal fato evidencia a necessidade de se promover uso racional de medicamentos por meio de ações, como o monitoramento da utilização destes fármacos. OBJETIVO: Conhecer e analisar o perfil de consumo de antifúngicos hospitalar, detalhando o consumo da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) e postos de internação (PI) de um Hospital Universitário com base no sistema DDD (dose diária definida) padrão, assim como analisar o custo com a utilização de antifúngicos de maior prevalência no hospital. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo, com corte transversal e quantitativo realizado em um hospital universitário para conhecer o perfil de utilização de antifúngicos por paciente-dia internados em UTI e em PI durante o primeiro trimestre dos anos de 2014, 2015 e 2016. Os antifúngicos analisados foram: Anfotericina B desoxicolato, Anfotericina B lipossomal, Anidulafungina, Nistatina e Fluconazol. RESULTADOS: Nos anos de 2015 e 2016 houve um aumento no consumo de antifúngicos com relação ao ano de 2014. No entanto, houve uma queda deste consumo de 2015 para 2016. O antifúngico mais utilizado no período analisado foi o Fluconazol tanto nos postos quanto na UTI, seguido da Nistatina e da Anidulafungina, respectivamente. Já em relação ao custo o maior gasto nos postos e UTI, foram da Anfotericina B lipossomal e Anidulafungina, respectivamente. (Cont.)
