RESUMOEste artigo tem como objetivo analisar as relações entre a organização do trabalho e a manifestação dos sintomas psicossomáticos. Utilizou-se o méto-do de pesquisa clínico-qualitativa e, como instrumento de coleta de dados, entrevistas em profundidade com quatorze indivíduos de uma organização. Buscou-se, inicialmente, uma categorização analítica provisória baseada no quadro teórico e, após a interpretação das falas, foram elaborados gráficos que destacam a visualização da incidência dos sintomas e dos fatores da organização do trabalho que emergiram dos discursos. Os sintomas manifestos foram a dor de cabeça, estresse, cansaço físico, insônia, gastrite, depressão, ansiedade, dores no corpo, inflamação no nervo ciático, angústia, indisposição e variação de humor. Os fatores decorrentes da organização do trabalho foram a pressão no trabalho, falta de autonomia, insegurança, desvalorização, falta de oportunidade, falta de comando e sobrecarga. Em virtude da metodologia qualitativa, não se pretendeu estabelecer uma correlação entre os dois construtos, mas analisar da manifestação dos fatores que os compõem e suas possíveis associações presentes nos discursos dos entrevistados.Palavras-chave: Psicossomática. ABSTRACTThis article has the objective of analyzing the relations between the organization of the work and the manifestation of the psychosomatic symptoms. The method of clinical-qualitative research was used as instrument of data collection, interviews in depth with fourteen individuals of an organization. Initially sought a provisional analytical categorization based on the theoretical framework.
