RESUMEN En este artículo estudiamos tres grupos de materiales líticos procedentes del yacimiento de la «Cueva de la Cantera» (Alcedo, León) que han sido adscritos, durante muchos años, a tres etapas del Paleolítico Superior: Auriñaciense, Magdaleniense y Aziliense. Los análisis estadísticos de Homogeneidad, Correspondencias y Distancia, aplicados a los datos tecnológicos de los talones y soportes de los tres grupos, parecen demostrar que esta triple clasificación no se mantiene. Ofrecemos como alternativa la asignación de las piezas a un único grupo correspondiente al Paleolítico Superior Final.
