El trabajo se centra en el desarrollo de un modelo multibody de vehículo automóvil completo con la inclusión de 6 GDL del mismo y características flexibles del chasis. El objetivo consiste en la obtención de un modelo más real respecto a las características deformables del chasis, componente más flexible del vehículo, en comparación con modelos totalmente rígidos tipo Quarter Car. Sobre un caso de vehículo L7E seleccionado, con suspensión double wishbone, se diseña un modelo multibody base según metodología standard. Este se define por 4 subconjuntos multibody de modelos Quarter Car y body de chasis. La totalidad de los componentes se definen como rígidos con propiedades de masa concentrada en los CG y tensores de inercia de los componentes. En base a este modelo inicial, se desarrollan 2 variantes del mismo, rígido y flexible, sobre los que se ejecutan los análisis de eventos/escenarios con presencia de cargas importantes de traccióncompresión, flexión y torsión. El body de chasis flexible se define por su modelo de modos normales de vibración desarrollado por FEM en el rango de frecuencia de las cargas presentes en los eventos. El análisis final de resultados de los eventos con subvariantes de modelo flexible según la inclusión de diferentes selecciones de modos normales tiene por objetivo establecer los criterios de selección de parámetros (rango frecuencia, modos, …) en la definición de chasis flexibles según esta metodología.
