Triphasic CT enterography can be a useful and complementary test in the evaluation of clinically stable patients with suspected gastrointestinal bleeding by identifying the bleeding source in one third to one half of patients. Because of the potential for perception errors, radiologists should familiarize themselves with the appearance of bleeding sources at CT enterography.
Our analysis supports previous findings that MRE is a non-invasive and effective method for detection and assessment of liver fibrosis, particularly for discrimination between F0-2 stages and F3-4 stages. MRE may represent a valuable tool to finely discern hepatic fibrosis non-invasively.
