The Launch Services Program at Kennedy Space Center has recently begun using a tool developed by the technology consulting firm Booz-Allen Hamilton specifically for this purpose. This paper addresses the possibility of transferring the information developed and organized by the Kennedy Workforce Planning Tool into a standard Microsoft Project document with integrated cost, resource modeling and analysis, simulation and visualization using an ontologycentered approach. The study emphasize on the potential of being able to forecast the workforce resource requirements.
