English is one of the primary subject that was taught in Electronic Engineering, Politeknik Negeri Bali, which includes speaking, writing and listening. Other than speaking, writing also become one of the most challenging subject in Electronic Engineering. To overcome the low writing skills of students and create pleasant learning atmosphere during the Covid 19 Pandemic, the authors want to try out learning method, namely Cooperative Learning Method with online media in the form of whatsapp. This research is a quantitative research with quasi experimental approach. The groups used in this study consist of two groups namely the experimental group using Whatsapp Cooperative Learning methods and the control grouos using the conventional method. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of a questionnaire and given to the students in both classes. From the data, it can be concluded that learning with the Whatsapp Cooperative Learning method is more effective to be used in teaching writing. It can be seen from the value of 2 of -2, 087 with Sig 0,037< 0,05 means that there is significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. This significant difference can be said as the result of the use of Whatsapp Cooperative Learning in class.
Dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris, mahasiwa membutuhkan sebuah metode yang efektif yang bisa membantu mereka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Pengajar memberikan sebuah metode yang efektif yang bisa mempermudah mereka dalam belajar. Penulis tertarik dengan sebuah metode yaitu metode mind mapping, yaitu sebuah metode pemetaan pikiran yang bisa diterapkan pada mahasiswa.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemberian metode mind mapping ini berpengaruh terhadap nilai presentasi mahasiswa. Adapun yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester VII kelas A D4 Manajemen Proyek Konstruksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan statistik. Dari olah data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian mind mapping dalam pembelajaran membawa pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan presentasi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa. Ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan presentasi bahasa Inggris sesudah pemberian mind mapping yakni masing-masing sebesar 79,65 dengan standar deviasi 5,86 dan sebesar 77.00 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,79
Some research on the Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) test has not covered much about the problems encountered during the data collection process. Based on experience using UPV test equipment, it is known that instability occurs in reading the test results. This is caused by the inability of the operator, in maintaining the stability of the transducer both in its position and pressure, especially in the measurement with the overhead position. Therefore, in this study a tool was made to make the transducer stable in the test position. Comparison of measurement results shows that, the uncertainty of wave velocity measurement decreases from the range of 4% -17% to 0.2% -0.4%. Meanwhile, the uncertainty of measurement of wave travel time decreased from the range of 0.8% -14% to 0.1% -0.4%. This can be interpreted that, the level of accuracy of measurements using a transducer stabilizer is 99.6% -99.9%. Thus, the use of transducer stabilizers is believed to be able to improve measurement accuracy.
