Introdução: Os cuidados Paliativos (CP) é uma categoria assistencial desenvolvida para dar uma melhor qualidade de vida àqueles pacientes que enfrentam patologias que põem sua vida em risco, diminuindo o sofrimento enfrentado pelos mesmos. Uma boa equipe para prestar é necessária para que esteja em ação uma prestação de serviço que tenha visão holística do enfrentamento do paciente, sendo exemplos: médicos, enfermeiros, fisioterapeutas, nutricionistas, psicólogos, assistentes sociais, terapeutas ocupacionais, dentre outros. Metodologia: O estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura com base em conhecimento científico. Definida a questão da pesquisa que foi: “Como pode ser a atuação da equipe multiprofissional para prestação de uma melhor assistência aos pacientes em cuidados paliativos?” Para a elaboração desse estudo, foram consultadas as bases de dados: Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Base de Dados de Enfermagem (BDENF) e Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO). Resultados e Discussão: Foram então considerados inicialmente, 229 estudos com a temática proposta; dentre estes, foram excluídos 220 estudos, de acordo com os critérios de exclusão estabelecidos. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão, restaram 09 estudos. Conclusão: Portanto, é preciso estar com uma equipe apta para atendimento, articulando e promovendo ações integradas e humanizadas para os pacientes, salientando apoio também familiar, compreendendo a complexidade da situação. Ademais, melhoria na comunicação entre os profissionais, em virtude de satisfação dos atendimentos. E também caminhos melhores a serem traçados havendo melhoria de gestão organizacional para atuação eficaz dos trabalhadores.
Apresentação O E-BOOK "PROMOÇÃO DA SAÚDE DA MULHER" através de trabalhos científicos aborda em seus 35 capítulos o conhecimento multidisciplinar que compõe sobre a saúde da mulher. Almeja-se que a leitura deste e-book possa incentivar o desenvolvimento de estratégias de atuação coletiva e educacional, visando promoção da saúde da mulher. A partir das primeiras décadas do século XX, a atenção à saúde da mulher passou a fazer parte das políticas públicas de saúde no Brasil. No entanto, nas décadas de 30, 40 e 50 a mulher era vista basicamente como mãe e "dona de casa". Na década de 60, diversos países se voltaram para controlar a natalidade e destacou-se a atenção do Estado às mulheres em idade fértil. Assim, os programas de "controle da natalidade" ganharam destaque no final da década de 70, negando atenção às reais necessidades ou preferências das mulheres, que ficavam relegadas em segundo plano. Esse engajamento das mulheres na luta pelos seus direitos e por melhores condições de vida impulsionou a adoção das primeiras medidas oficiais do Ministério da Saúde voltadas para a assistência integral à saúde da mulher. Apesar das limitações impostas pelo governo militar da época, o movimento feminista se reorganizou incitando debates que denunciavam a precariedade da saúde da mulher brasileira. A Conferência Nacional das Mulheres, realizada em 2004 estabeleceu as diretrizes que compõem o Plano Nacional de Políticas para as Mulheres, a cargo da Secretaria Especial de Políticas para as Mulheres vinculada à Presidência da República. O debate que ocorreu nesta Conferência acerca da saúde sexual e reprodutiva contribuiu para a elaboração da Política Nacional de Atenção Integral à Saúde da Mulher, do Ministério da Saúde (PNAISM/MS). Um dos desafios a ser enfrentado por essas políticas é contemplar a diversidade sociocultural, econômica e epidemiológica que caracteriza o universo feminino brasileiro.
