Abstract:The article deals with the issues of mobbing in health care facilities. Nurse is one of the professions excessively exposed to the mobbing behaviour. Compared to other sectors, the risk of occurrence of this negative phenomenon in health care sector is up to seven times higher. The empirical part of the paper includes an analysis and a comparison of the results of the research carried out as a descriptive study with the aim to determine the extent to which mobbing is experienced by nurses, its emotional and physiological effects on the respondents and the steps taken by the individual persons to escape from the mobbing. It focuses also on the possible links between the nurses' personal traits and their vulnerability to mobbing. In order to get the necessary data, a quantitative method -through a questionnaire survey -has been used. The creation of the questionnaire has drawn inspiration from the research carried out by Nursing Administration Department, Florence Nightingale School of Nursing, Istanbul University in 2005, the respondents being nurses working in health care facilities in Turkey [1]. This article focuses on the problems connected with fluctuation of nursing staff. Today, the fluctuation of health care staff is a widespread phenomenon. This was further accentuated after the Czech Republic joined the EU as nursing staff started to make greater use of the free movement of people in the labor market. Abstract:Being a nurse is amongst one of the toughest professions. It is a profession in which the nurse will be in contact with different kinds of stress factors. There are often encounters with death, suffering, as well as dying and terminally ill patients. Nurses must be able to communicate with patients who react differently to illness and hospitalization and those patients who can even cause conflicts. In addition to the direct workloads regarding this range of problems there are also bad relationships in the workplace and difficulties in everyday life. There is also the need for continuous training and learning of new skills. The influence of all these factors can lead the nurse into difficult situations in life -such as excessive stress. The aim of this research was to determine stress factors that influence the work of nurses in outpatient and inpatient wards.
Summary:A patient's fall especially in the elderly population in connection with hospitalization presents a major problem. Recurrent falls and fear of them often confine the patient to bed with considerable negative consequences including progression of Disuse Syndrome. This report is focused on the issues of falls by hospitalized patients. The survey uses the quantitative method with evaluation of the data received, expressed in percentages. The research reveals the problems that occur in connection with patient's falls in Healthcare Facilities. Finally, there are some recommendations for practical application to improve the quality of the Nursing Care.
