Contact hypersensitivity is common in adolescents. For patients with therapy-resistant skin lesions affecting the face and hands, patch testing with an evaluation for 7 days is recommended. Our results provide the first data on frequency of contact hypersensitivity in this age group in Hungary. Metals, fragrances, mercuric derivatives, dyeing materials, and skin care products were the most common allergens.
Semmelweis Egyetem Bôr-Nemikórtani és Bôronkológiai Klinika ÖSSZEFOGLALÁS Az erythema exsudativum multiforme (EEM) multietiológiával rendelkezô, polymorph klinikai kórkép. Akut, spontán gyógyuló, gyakran recidiváló betegség, melyre szimmetrikus, erythemas céltáblarajzolat szerû plakkok jellemzôek. A betegség hátterében elsôsorban IV/c típusú hypersensitivitási reakciót feltételeznek. Korábban a Stevens-Johnson szindrómát (SJS) és a toxikus epidermalis necrolysist (TEN) az EEM súlyosabb formáinak tartották, ma a legtöbb szakirodalmi forrás már elkülöníti ezt a két kórképet. A szerzôk célkitûzése az EEM-t, SJS-t és TENt kiváltó provokáló faktorok feltérképezése, továbbá a kórképek klinikai tüneteinek jellemzése.
