Marital rape is a form of sexual violence against women that occurs in a marital relationship. One of the causes of marital rape is the patriarchal culture that is still inherent in people's lives. Patriarchal culture creates gender inequality which results in discrimination against women. The purpose of this research is to see the picture of marital rape in patriarchal culture. The data collection process was carried out using a qualitative case study method. Researchers interviewed and observed two female subjects who experienced marital rape. The data obtained into the transcript formed coding and analyzed. The results of this study look at the picture of patriarchal culture embraced by subject FN since being raised by grandparents who brought the patriarchal system into their family and FN married a husband who also adheres to the patriarchal system, resulting in a gender injustice in the form of marital rape, FN underwent marriage for 12 years and decided to divorce. In contrast to subject T who already has gender equality in his family, but T is married to a man (husband) who adheres to a patriarchal system. T was only married to her husband for 2 years and decided to divorce. The patriarchal culture inherent in society makes women (wives) experience gender injustice. Lack of community support makes victims choose to remain silent. However, individuals who have gender equality will also experience marital rape when they meet a partner who adheres to a patriarchal system.
