(analítico)Este artículo sistematiza una propuesta metodológica denominada emojilogía, la cual se enfoca en el desarrollo de procesos de investigación- acción participativa con y desde el estudiantado. En primer lugar, se aborda la «caja de herramientas» teórico-epistemológica que permite repensar al colectivo estudiantil como agentes sociales válidos para gatillar procesos de transformación escolar. Luego, se profundiza sobre el procedimiento que involucra la propuesta, dando cuenta de la preparación grupal para iniciar el trabajo, la co-construcción de consignas de exploración, la producción de narrativas desde el uso de emojis y la consolidación de espacios de diálogo con el resto de la comunidad educativa. Se concluyen los beneficios y limitaciones de la metodología, vinculados al rol del conflicto como un medio para gatillar transformaciones, pero también como barrera por la generación de resistencias institucionales. En la presente investigación se propuso comprender las situaciones sociales que experimenta un equipo de docentes de formación continua de un curso con foco en la Experiencia de Aprendizaje Mediado (EAM). El caso se desarrolló en Chile en modalidad sincrónica y remota, debido a la crisis sanitaria por el COVID-19. Metodológicamente, se realizó una investigación cualitativa con diseño narrativo, analizando registros etnográficos y entrevistas. Los resultados reconstruyen la situación social denominada “Cámaras apagadas y micrófonos silenciados”, describiendo las emociones experimentadas (malestar, incomodidad y sorpresa) y actuaciones profesionales de los formadores (comprensión del contexto, invitación al encendido de cámaras, formación de grupos pequeños y ejemplos cotidiano-pedagógicos) para responder a la interpelación contextual y ampliar sus recursos de interacción. Se concluye destacando la necesidad de actualización de los marcos profesionales del formador para mantener coherencia en la enseñanza de la mediación. Asimismo, se enfatiza en el desafío para la educación superior de propiciar las experiencias vividas de los formadores en un escenario inédito para su aprendizaje y desarrollo profesional.
