Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el clima ético organizacional con la Cultura de Seguridad del Paciente en el personal de enfermería en el Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad del Niño "Dr. Rodolfo Nieto Padrón". Material y Método: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal y correlacional, se aplicó para medir Clima Ético Hospitalario la encuesta de Linda Bolsón (1988) y para medir la cultura de seguridad el cuestionario MOSPS (2011). La muestra la constituyeron 197 profesionales de enfermería. Resultados: El índice global de clima ético hospitalario es de 56.29, las enfermeras percibieron en una escala del 0 al 10 un clima de seguridad global de 8 (57.1%), los eventos notificados en un año es de 0 incidentes por escrito (88.7%). Se encontró que existe una relación positiva y significativa (rs = .404**) (p = .000) entre el clima ético y la frecuencia de eventos notificados, existe una asociación positiva y significativa entre el la percepción de clima ético y el clima de seguridad (rs = .231**) (p = .003), de igual forma hay una relación positiva y significativa entre clima ético hospitalario y la percepción de seguridad del paciente (rs= .636 p =.000). Conclusiones: El clima ético hospitalario percibido se orienta a un ambiente positivo y de confianza en el trabajo colaborativo entre colegas y pacientes, en contra parte de los hallazgos de desconfianza y subordinación que son desfavorables para el ejercicio profesional en relación al trabajo con otras disciplinas, la relación con los jefes y relación con el hospital.
