This study aims to determine the profile of the mastery of computational thinking skills of State Junior High School students throughout the city of Semarang with the benefit of being a benchmark for innovation or development of learning models oriented to mastering the computational thinking skills of State Junior High School students in the city of Semarang. This research was conducted in 15 public junior high schools in the city of Semarang on March 25, 2022 - April 30, 2022. The sample in the study amounted to 15 public junior high schools from a population of 45 public junior high schools in the city of Semarang. Data were taken using a free test instrument to measure students' computational thinking skills and teacher questionnaires to obtain information related to learning science in schools. The free test is given online via google form and offline using a question sheet. The total respondents were 328 students as the research sample. The result of this research is that the profile of mastery of computational thinking skills of State Junior High School students in Semarang city gets a score of 54.97. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' computational thinking skills are in the medium category and there are still students who have not been able to solve problems with computational thinking skills, namely abstraction, generalization, pattern recognition, decomposition, and algorithms.Keywords: Computational Thinking, Bebras task, Science Learning for State Junior High Schools of Semarang city
Pada penelitian tahun pertama ini telah dihasilkan perangkatpembelajaran tematik sains SD dengan model Pakem yang terdiridari silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, naskah materisains SD dengan pendekatan tematik, dan alat evaluasipembelajaran sains. Kegiatan penelitian di tahun pertama ini diawali dengan melakukan analisis kurikulum SD dan analisiskebutuhan siswa sesuai dengan aspek perkembangan anak SD,dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi materi yang berhubungan dengansains yang sesuai kurikulum dan mendeskripsikan fasilitaspendukung pembelajaran sains yang diperlukan, langkah ketigadilakukan pengembangan materi sains SD dengan PAKEM melaluipendekatan tematik, langkah ke empat pengembangan strategipembelajaran di sini dirancang kegiatan inkuiri dengan PAKEMmelalui pendekatn Tematik Sains SD, dan langkah ke lima yaitupengembangan alat evaluasi yang berupa penilaian kognitif,afektif dan psikomotorik.
This research aims to find out how the level of science motivation of students in the physics learning of class X high school in Semarang City using Science Motivation Questionnaire (SMQ) II. The data analysis method used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample in this study was 357 students of class X in 15 of the 75 high schools in Semarang city with stratified random sampling technique. Online data collection techniques use questionnaires on google form and offline using questionnaires on paper. The results showed that the level of science motivation of students at class X high school Semarang city falls into the high category. In total, each component of science motivation has an insignificant score difference so that students' science motivation is almost evenly distributed in each component. The value motivation component had the highest score with 21,09% while intrinsic motivation scored the most with 19%. The self-efficacy component scored 19,94%, self-determination 19,96%, and career motivation 20,08%. The score obtained by each component is not much different between the components of science motivation. Motivation is included in the high category is one of the causes of the increase in the value of national exam high school at Semarang City in previous years.Keywords: science, science motivation, SMQ II
