Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan kekayaan flora dimana 7.000 spesies diantaranya dikategorikan tanaman obat yang memiliki beragam khasiat. Dengan keanekaragaman hayati tersebut, terdapat pula keanekaragaman kimiawi seperti metabolit sekunder dan salah satunya adalah kuinon. Review artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan memberikan informasi dan pembuktian mengenai isolasi yang terdapat pada tanaman yang diduga memiliki senyawa turunan kuinon. Pembuktian dilakukan dengan metode ekstraksi, fraksinasi, dan isolasi dengan pelarut dan menggunakan cara yang berbeda-beda. Metode yang digunakan dalam review ini berdasarkan studi literatur yang dianalisis dari beberapa publikasi ilmiah di jurnal nasional maupun internasional. Hasil yang diperoleh didapatkan bahwa isolat dari tanaman aloe vera, bisbul, mengkudu, hedyotis caudatifolia Merr dan ceratotheca triloba menunjukan respon positif terhadap pengujian yang dilakukan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa masing masing tanaman mengandung senyawa turunan kuinon.
Depresi merupakan salah satu penyakit mental yang serius yang biasa ditandai oleh persaan sedih atau cemas. Data melaporkan bahwa sejumlah 800,000 kasus bunuh diri merupakan dampak dari depresi. Sementara di Indonesia, individu dengan penyakit depresi ada pada kisaran 6 % dari total populasi. Temuan lain oleh Badan pusat statistik (2014) bahwa setidaknya ada sekitar 3,4 juta remaja usia 10-19 mengalami gangguan mental di tahun 2013. Tujuan artikel review ini untuk memberikan informasi kepada pembaca terkait senyawa yang berpotensi sebagai antidepresan. Metode yang digunakan dalam review literatur ini adalah dengan melakukan pencarian sumber acuan berupa jurnal ilmiah atau artikel ilmiah, baik skala nasional mapun internasional, yang berhubungan dengan uji in silico senyawa antidepresan. Terdapat beberapa senyawa yang dapat dijadikan sebagai antidepresan. Reseptor yang paling umum digunakan dalam pengujian aktivitas antidepresi yaitu 5-HT1A (5-hydroxytryptophan) dan MAOA (Monoamine Oxidase A). Senyawa yang berpotensi sebagai antidepresan di antaranya, safrole dari biji pala, Senyawa Aktif Curcuma longa, derivatif kurkumin, ekstrak Angelica archagelica, Gingerol serta shogaol dalam Konstituen Zingiber officinale, Senyawa Dehydrozingerone dari ekstrak Zingiber officinale, eikosanal dan fitol asetat dari tanaman Elatostem papillosum, L-17, 1MeTIQ, dan Aegeline pada ekstrak buah Aegle marmelos,

Anemia merupakan keadaan dimana kondisi tersebut pada kadar hemoglobin yang kurang dari 12g/dl untuk wanita yang tidak hamil, dan kurang dari 10g/dl selama proses kehamilan atau masa nifas. Pada review ini saya menganalisis terhadap pengetahuan tablet tambah darah (Fe) dalam meningkatkan hemobglobin untuk ibu hamil dalam mencegah anemia. Untuk tujuan review jurnal ini merupakan serangkaian dalam mengenalisis kepatuhan dan pengetahuan tentang tablet tambah darah. Sampel yang digunakan rata-rata pada jurnal ini menggunakan quisioner dan ada juga yang terjun langsung ke ibu hamil. Untuk pengambilan responden dengan cara menanyakan pertanyaan diantara pertanyaan itu tentang kepatuhan mengkosumsi tablet tambah darah. Untuk hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan terhadap ibu hamil tentang pengetahuan dan kepatuhan tablet tambah darah bisa disimpulkan dari semua jurnal bahwa pengetahuan ibu hamil rata-rata fluktuatif (naik turun).
Pengawet merupakan bahan tambahan pangan yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan mikroorganisme sehingga makanan tidak mudah basi. Natrium benzoat merupakan salah satu pengawet yang diperbolehkan digunakan dalam pangan namun dalam batas yang telah ditentukan yaitu <1 g/kg menurut BPOM RI. Tujuan dari review ini adalah mengetahui gambaran dan memberikan informasi mengenai metode analisis kadar natrium benzoat pada pangan serta membandingkan hasilnya dengan ketentuan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review dari berbagai jurnal dengan rentang tahun 10 tahun. Hasil pada penelitian ini, metode analisis natrium benzoat pada pangan dapat dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Uji kualitatif dapat menggunakan penambahan FeCl3, tes kit, dan KLT, sedangkan uji kuantitatif dapat menggunakan KCKT, spektrofotometri UV-Vis dan titrasi. Sampel yang diteliti dari 10 jurnal yang didapat adalah produk sirup, saus (tomat dan cabai), kecap, minuman dan selai stroberi yang diproduksi secara industri dan/atau rumahan. Kesimpulan dari berbagai metode yang diuji adalah masih banyak produsen pangan yang menggunakan natrium benzoat sebagai pengawet, namun tidak semua sampel yang diteliti sesuai dengan ketentuan
