Objetivo: Describir el uso de la inteligencia artificial para el ajuste de la red de servicios durante la pandemia Covid-19 en el departamento de Magdalena, Colombia. Métodos: Se adaptó la plataforma digital MAIA ® para la extracción de casos Covid-19 de las diferentes instituciones de salud del departamento. Se utilizo inteligencia artificial para soportar la toma de decisiones de red. Se realizaron encuestas de experiencia de usuario para la plataforma “MAIA DATA CRUE CENTRO REGULACIÓN DE URGENCIAS Y EMERGENCIAS” (MAIA DATA CRUE) diseñada por MEDZAIO. Resultados: 58 instituciones de salud de 27 municipios de Magdalena se encuentran usando la plataforma digital MAIA, con una utilización diaria de 100%, con extracción de información cada 12 horas y funcionamiento 24/7. Se han recibido 1200 registros, que han servido para consolidación de información viva, con la cual se han tomado decisiones diarias en salud por parte del CRUE. El 100% de los encuestados esta de acuerdo en seguir usando esta herramienta. Conclusión: La adaptación y el uso de plataformas digitales como MAIA DATA CRUE, es una estrategia de epidemiología digital para la gestión inteligente de enfermedades. Este artículo demuestra la importancia de herramientas digitales soportadas por inteligencia artificial para optimizar las capacidades de respuesta de los sistemas de salud.
